RIP Allison Marie Kelley

Last week a girl was found shot to death on the street I lived on. I didn’t know her personally, all I knew about her was that I’d seen her a few times at the Y and she graduated the same year as me but at PCA. It was a murder-suicide. Her dad killed her and then shot himself and her boyfriend found them the next day.

I can’t wrap my head around what happened. I didn’t know the girl and still I’m almost to tears from watching this video her friends put together. It really put things into perspective.

Don’t take anything for granted, especially the time we have on this earth. For as long as we are breathing we have the potential to make our lives better for ourselves no matter who we are. We have time to make more money, time to pick ourselves back up, time to find that special someone, time to make a difference…we have time. Allison Marie Kelley was rob of that time by someone who should have been her greatest protector in her life. Robbed of her potential.

RIP Allison. I’m so sorry this happened to you, sweetie.
